How do I access my new hosting dashboard?

  1. Navigate to http://www.melbourneit.com.au/.
  2. Click the Login button located at top right of the page to login your My Account.
  3. Once logged-in, click Manage Services.
  4. Select your Cloud Hosting plan.
  5. Click Manage Service.
  6. You will be automatically logged-in to your new hosting dashboard.

How do I manage my databases?

Creating a New Database
  1. Access the Dashboard (see "How do I access my new hosting dashboard?").
  2. Click Databases.
  3. Click New Database.
  4. Enter your Database Name.
  5. Select the Database Type.
  6. Click the Create button.
Managing Existing Databases
  1. Access the Dashboard (see "How do I access my new hosting dashboard?").
  2. Click Databases.
  3. Click View (under Credentials) to access the database login details.
  4. Click Administer under PHPMyAdmin to manage the database.

How do I manage my email addresses?

If your email is hosted with us, you'll be able to create, delete or update existing mailboxes as follows:

Creating a New Email Address
  1. Access the Dashboard (see "How do I access my new hosting dashboard?").
  2. Click the Create New Email icon (under Administration).
  3. You will be redirected to the Manage Email page.
  4. Select IMAP/POP Account in the Create email account menu.
  5. Click Create Email.
  6. Enter a Username, Password and confirm your password again.
  7. Click the Create Email button.

Passwords must contain one each of the following: upper and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters. Please do not use the open or close bracket characters '(' or ')'.

Updating an Existing Email Address
  1. Access the Dashboard (see "How do I access my new hosting dashboard?").
  2. Click the Create New Email icon (under Administration).
  3. You will be redirected to the Manage Email page.
  4. Click the Email Address (under Active email accounts) that you would like to update.
  5. This will allow you to change the Password, set a Forwarder or enable an Auto-responder.

How do I access my email using an email client?

In order to access your email using an email client please use the settings below. Note: example.com represents your domain name.

How do I access my email using webmail?

To access your email in a web browser (such as Internet Explorer or Chrome) please go to the following address, being sure to replace domain.com with your domain name:

If your domain name is not yet delegated to our name servers please use this address instead:

http://webmail.partnerconsole.net

How do I add new DNS zone records?

If your DNS is hosted with us you'll be able to make DNS changes (A records, MX records, etc) as follows:

Creating a New DNS Zone Record
  1. Access the Dashboard (see "How do I access my new hosting dashboard?").
  2. Click the Zone Records icon (under Settings).
  3. Choose the Record Type you wish to add (under the Add a Zone Record menu).
  4. Click the Create New Record button.
  5. Enter the DNS Record data.
  6. Click Add Record.

Note: DNS changes take several hours to propagate. You will not notice the changes right away.

Hosting Name Servers

For new Hosting, Domain Manager or Business Email Hosting services, you should delegate your domains to these name servers:

  • ns1.partnerconsole.net
  • ns2.partnerconsole.net
  • ns3.partnerconsole.net

What are the FTP details for my hosting?

File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a protocol used to transfer files from one device to another. For example, moving files from your computer to our servers. When you purchase a website hosting plan, you are provided with FTP details, so that you may upload your website files to our servers. Below are instructions on where to locate, update and manage your FTP details:

Creating a New FTP User
  1. Access the Dashboard (see "How do I access my new hosting dashboard?").
  2. Click FTP Accounts (under Website).
  3. Scroll down to Current FTP Accounts.
  4. Click Add FTP Account.
  5. Enter a new Username, Password and confirm.
  6. Click Add Account.
Viewing FTP Username & Password
  1. Access the Dashboard (see "How do I access my new hosting dashboard?").
  2. Click FTP Accounts (under Website).
  3. Click Show (under the Password field).
Updating a FTP Password
  1. Access the Dashboard (see "How do I access my new hosting dashboard?").
  2. Click FTP Accounts (under Website).
  3. Click Edit next to the user account you want to update.
  4. Enter a new Password and confirm.
  5. Click Update Account.
