Before you transfer your domain name to Melbourne IT, you must make sure:

• You have the domain password (authinfo) for your domain name
• Your domain name is not locked by your current registrar
• The contact details for your domain name, including the admin email address, are up to date

Your current registrar can help you with these tasks.

To transfer your domain name to Melbourne IT:

1. Go to the Transfers page
2. Enter the domain name you want to transfer, and its password, into the boxes provided
3. Click Begin Transfer

Note:/b> Only .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .us and .au domain names can be transferred in this way. Other domain names cannot be transferred.
