.travel is a new official global name space exclusive to the travel and tourism industries that is designed to provide consumers with added confidence when dealing with travel-related services on the web.

Application Details

Once Melbourne IT receives your expression of interest, we will contact you to manage the verification/authentication of your eligibility to hold a .travel name, and submission of your .travel application to the central .travel registry with no additional charge. After authentication, names are allocated by the registry on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Our fees will also only apply if your application is successful.

What will a .travel name cost me?

Application Cost will be USD $230

(A 10% discount applies to all paid up AFTA (Australian Federation of Travel Agents) members. Further discounts available for bulk orders of 5 or more .travel domain names)

What will I get with my .travel name?

Successful .travel applications submitted with Melbourne IT receive:

• 1 year .travel registration
• 1 year email & web forwarding to anywhere you like
• 1 page website
